A good perception of others is very important when it comes to online interaction as some people can easily assume false identities like old people pretending to be very young, married people claiming to be singles or people that are not parents claiming to be parents, etc. This could happen offline as well but I must say it is more rampant online so perception is a key factor if you are looking to use the Internet to find love. Always remember that it is entirely up to you if the interaction online should be made an offline relationship, you are at an advantage where you can decide to stop or take it further. I would say not to rush meeting up but to take your time and get to know your date more so you could save yourself the stress of getting in touch with so many wrong dates before you meet the right one.
